About the Project

RMI Development LLC and an affiliate of the General Electric Pension Trust advised by GE Asset Management recently unveiled preliminary plans for the first new high-rise to be built on Lakeview Avenue in more than three decades.

Lincoln Park 2520 will bring a total of 325 luxury residences to a 3.4-acre site at 2520 N. Lakeview Ave., the approximate midpoint of an exclusive four-block thoroughfare that runs along the western edge of Lincoln Park and features some of the city’s most prominent pre-World War II high-rises.

Plans call for 312 high-rise condominiums with unobstructed views of Lincoln Park, North Pond, Lake Michigan and the city skyline; a total of 13 townhomes along St. James Place and Deming Place; garage parking for 625 cars; and a private one-plus-acre park. Chicago-based Lucien Lagrange is the architect.

Other development team members include Chicago-based The Walsh Group as general contractor, as well as special consultant Charles P. Reiss, the former Trump Organization executive who oversaw all pre-development activity for Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago.
